Delivery Areas

Please note: We only supply and install electrical items locally. This means the Port Talbot, Cymmer, Briton Ferry, Jersey Marine, Neath, Cimla, Skewen, Porthcawl, Cornelly, Pyle, Aberkenfig, Sarn, Tondu, Bridgend and Maesteg areas. We will, however, deliver fire suites to a much greater area including Cardiff, Swansea, Llanelli and Carmarthen, so if you are interested in a fire suite let us know where you live and we will accomodate you if we can. You will need to call to our Bridgend or Port Talbot shop to see the item you require - electrical goods, TV's, Washing Machines,etc. at our Port Talbot shop only.

Installation of new equipment - normally FREE OF CHARGE*

We will only connect items purchased from us to suitable installations. We will NOT connect to faulty or unsuitable installations.

We will remove any old washing machine, washer dryer or dishwasher, except for Built-In items, already in place and install the new one as long as the fittings are in good order.

We will connect any new television and set it up to your existing video, dvd, satellite, cable box or aerial and show you how to work it. However, we do not run cables under carpets or around rooms or fix LCD or Plasma television to the wall. If a suitable wall mount bracket has already been properly fitted we will connect to this but accept no liability should any damage occur. *Please Note: The above does not apply to the Toshiba 32AV505 at the price of £399.99. This televison will be delivered to the front door, unpacked and checked it is not marked in any way and then reboxed. Moving the old TV, Connection and setting up of the new tv will be extra. See the page for more details.

Please note: We DO NOT install gas or electric cookers, Built-In Products, fires or fireplaces, but are able to recommend qualified installers who will carry out a professional installation at a reasonable cost.

Extended Guarantees

Extended Guarantees are normally underwritten by Domestic and General Services Ltd. and include the manufacturers guarantee, e.g. our LCD JVC televisions with a three year guarantee has the first year covered by JVC and the other two by Domestic and General Services Ltd. We have our own qualified engineers to install and look after the television and video equipment we supply. We claim directly from the manufacturers or insurers for the costs of any repair that becomes necessary. We will also normally loan a television or video while our customers unit is in for repair. The JVC Five Year Guarantee is covered by JVC themselves.

Removal of old equipment

With the implementation of the WEEE Directive on the 1st July 2007 we are no longer able to remove old appliances, except Washing Machines, Tumble Dryers, Dishwashers, and DISCONNECTED cookers, as we have an arrangement to dispose of them. We will place Fridges, Freezers, Televisions, etc, in a convenient place for collection by the local authority who will remove them, normally at no charge.

Stock Levels

We keep a reasonable backup of all items we stock in our 4500 Sq.Ft Warehouse. However, sometimes we do run out between deliveries. In this case we endever to supply as soon as we possibly can. We generally receive our main deliveries on a Tuesday and Friday.

Items marked with 'Limited Stock' mean we have only a certain number of that model at that price. Further numbers are generally available but at a higher price.
